Carmen BantaDescriptionThe Service Technician position is responsible for the timely and accurate maintenance and installation of residential softener and/or water treatment systems for Puronics Water Treatment customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Puronics System.
Follow detailed service instructions, processes, and procedures.
Meets daily service schedule as assigned.
Uses available parts to maintain various water treatment equipment or kits according to operating instructions.
Safely operate the assigned Service vehicle and maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.
Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Team Lead & GM.
Maintains a clean and organized Service vehicle appropriately supplied with the proper tools and parts.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Work within our APTORA CRM Service system and create workorders, invoices and collecting payment from our customers.
Sell water treatment upgrades and other plumbing products to our existing consumer when its requested by the customer.
Complete a monthly inventory count of all parts in the service vehicle.
Attend weekly service meetings.
The service must be dependable.
Skills Knowledge and ExpertiseSkills and Abilities Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to clearly communicate with customers and colleagues especially related to water softener and water treatment processes.
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to understand and resolve basic plumbing problems and repairs Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
Ability to work alone effectively under stress and in situations dangerous to self or others.
Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
Have strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to pass a physical and drug test.
Education and Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
Valid CA driver's license with a safe driving history.
1-3 years or more experience working in a plumbing type position (preferred).
Computer SkillsBasic.

Continually required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Regularly required to sit or stand and to walk.
