Do you have an eye for detail? OE Federal's Risk Managment Department is the perfect place for you! As an Internal Auditor, you'll have the chance to help ensure the safety and soundness of OE Federal Credit Union.

Position Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo succeed in this position, you must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the following under general supervision from your manager:
Evaluate the adequacy of the credit union's system of internal controls.
Recommend improvements to address identified deficiencies in internal controls.
Assess compliance with credit union policies and procedures and sound business practicesAssess compliance with state and federal laws and contractual obligations.
Draft audit reports to summarize findings; collaborate with internal stakeholders on post audit remediation plans; and present reports to executive management and the Supervisory Committee.
Assist in the preparation of the annual risk-based audit plan.
Assist external auditor(s) and regulatory examiners by providing data and information as requested.
Understand and comply with applicable Federal and State Laws, banking regulations and OE Federal Credit Union Policies and Procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications and Skill RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics is preferred.

years of experience conducting audits, compliance reviews and internal control assessments in accordance with professional auditing standards required.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing and with various levels of management and staff required.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines required.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) required.
Obtaining Certified Credit Union Internal Auditor (CCUIA) certification within 18 months of hire required.

$65,000-$82,000/year OE Federal Credit Union offers competitive compensation.
The offered salary considers experience, education, training, internal peer equity, job location and other business considerations when extending an offer.
The salary outlined is based on working in Livermore, California.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
