41 an hour 8 hours ago 8 hours ago 8 hours ago The Logistic Services Mail Operations Specialist is responsible for overall processing of mail in the facility, both external from the Post Office and internal from the organization's other facilities.
Handle internal delivery of documents throughout the facilities.
Receive, scan, and distribute sensitive documents and supplies for the Livermore facility.
Assist and support the team by performing delivery rounds for Livermore Operations, logging and distributing packages, sorting incoming mail and prepping all outgoing mail.
Use of equipment to include hand scanners, Inserter machine and mail meters, to complete the production of daily notices and statements.
When not performing these duties, the Operations Specialist may be tasked with special delivery and/or pick up requests or other special assignments - assisting Procurement Department.
Must be flexible and able to prioritize and manage the expectations and changing needs of our clients.
This is a customer service position, that requires the individual to work with external clients as well as internal clients.
Good communications skills are a must.
Role and Responsibilities Mail Production and Sorting Mail Internal Building Runs Miscellaneous Logistics Support (scanning, organizing, tracking, scanning, and verifying paperwork) Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned - assist Procurement Department Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Clean Driving Record Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - including Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong Time Management/Organizational skills for prioritizing needs - distribution of supplies and paperwork Strong Communication skills to instruct staff, take instructions, and to keep other involved parties informed Comfortable working with mail equipment - inserter, meters, and hand scanners Quickly be able to adjust to unexpected situations and formulate action plans to address them Knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance Needs Experience with Mailing Equipment and UPS/FedEx shipping Knowledge of USPS regulations Adaptable - must be able to function in atmosphere with changing priorities BNeTHKfsUk.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
