Compensation:
$35.
00 to $40.
00 per hour depending on experience and number of current certifications Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for collection, documentation, analysis and reporting of field data; including construction observation and testing for compliance with construction plans and specifications, field sampling, geotechnical/geological logging of bore holes and test pits/trenches, computer drafting, report writing, task management, and general support as needed for mid- and senior-level engineers and geologists.
This position will be a mix of office and fieldwork.
You must be capable of taking directions and completing work independently with basic supervision.

As your experience and technical judgment increases, tasks may include developing scope of services and fees, interacting with Client representatives, reviewing laboratory test data for completeness and accuracy, deriving conclusions and recommendations based on site geology and subsurface findings, and project coordination and management.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited universityStrong verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skillsValid California Driver's LicenseHave and maintain a clean driving recordAbility to understand and read construction plans and specifications that are applicable to the inspection duties and requirementsAbility to work outdoors for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and transport for short distances a minimum of 50 poundsAbility to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with othersWilling to travel to project locations throughout California, but primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding countiesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelPreferred Qualifications (but not required):
Registered as an Engineer-in-Training or be ready to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam immediately upon hiringAcademic focus on soil mechanics/geotechnical engineering1 to 2 years of experienceNuclear gauge safety certificationNuclear density gauge experience40-hour HAZWOPER trainingACI certificationICC soils certificationAbout the Company:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
