They were founded over 50 years ago and they offer a wide range of services including personal and business banking, SBA, construction, multifamily, lines of credit and commercial loans.
They also handle trust services, estate planning, retirement planning and wealth management.

Currently, they are looking to add an additional Underwriter to the team who will be responsible for reviewing, conditioning, analyzing and issuing decisions on mortgage loans originated from the Retail Channel.
The Underwriter determines and assesses borrower's creditworthiness and risk with sound analytics supported by file documentation.

Responsibilities:
Answer incoming correspondence (calls, emails, faxes, voicemail) within established department standardsAssist clients with new products and servicesOpen new accountsInternal and external inquiries and research requestsProcess client transactions including deposits, transfers and wire transfersDaily client contact - overdraft report, check and wire verification, return deposited items, etc.
Verification of Deposit/Credit rating requestsClient supply orders (checks, deposit slips, endorsement stamps, etc.
)Cross sell additional Bank products and servicesAssigned daily and monthly tasks and dutiesCoordinate and participate in Department meetingsEnsure compliance with Bank and Department standards (GLBA, BSA, Security protocol, etc.
)Support Bank Associates with setup of all additional product and services as requiredAccount Maintenance, (client contact and follow-up)Support Fremont Bank Senior Management as requiredPrepare and process account change requestsComplete Department supply ordersClient site travel as required (new accounts, transactions, maintenance)Adhere to established Department standards and guidelinesClient and Bank event assistance as neededEscalation of client concerns as appropriateRequirements:

years in branch banking experience including corporate/business accounts, cash/treasury management, online banking, remote deposit capture, small business bill pay, and wire transfer.
Ability to handle escalation, recommending and opening new business accountsHigh level client service skillsExperience solving customer problems and working with high touch customersProfessional communication skillsExperience working with a Windows-based computer environment, working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeHave or acquire Signing AuthorityStrong time management and organizational skills requiredInterested in hearing more? The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
