JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Production Supervisor Pre-requisite Skills: Printing, corrugated, finishing, die-cutting experience Strong working knowledge of supervising manufacturing operations Strong aptitude to diagnose and take corrective action during production processes Ability to time-line and cost-out projects to a cost-efficient completion Strong verbal and written communication Ability to schedule and follow through with project load Ability to handle stress and maintain composure Bilingual in English/Spanish is helpful Forklift operation certification Statistical process control experience is preferred Ability to work more than regular shift hours Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time Ability to climb Ability to work irregular hours, when required Essential Functions Lead crews with innovative ideas that of the Job: continuously improve performance Train employees under your direct supervision Responsibility for actions of employees under your direct supervision Implement and enforce ISO and manufacturing procedures Accurate approval and timely completion of production orders as scheduled Responsibility for high-quality and efficient production in all manufacturing areas Procure miscellaneous supplies, pallets, and materials Maintain safe, secure, clean environment on interior and exterior of facility Complete performance evaluations of employees under your supervision Perform disciplinary action against employees under your supervision Proactive communication to management regarding all of your job functions Accurate completion of paperwork and computer input related to all facets of production and personnel Accountability: Quality of finished goods Customer satisfaction Low reject/rework rate Timely and cost-efficient manufacture of product Authority: All production and procedure-related decisions Reports directly to the production manager Responsibility: Supervision of all production department personnel Purchasing (final purchase approval to be obtained from upper management) Send resume toEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
