Network Operations Specialist (CCNA/MCSA)

Our client, a premier technology provider that designs, implements and maintains powerful converged communication solutions to businesses worldwide is currently seeking a Network Operations Specialist with 5 or more years of general network management and systems administration experience. Please note that this is a high career growth opportunity requiring company-paid attendance in training courses (online and classroom), performing self-study, obtaining and maintaining certifications (on an on-going basis).

Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support of the LAN, WAN, WLAN and voice network
Responsible for the managing and optimization of client workstations, servers, and network systems to ensure high levels of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the supported business applications and perform daily administration of the corporate virtualized infrastructure.
Proactively identify, isolate and resolve network problems to avoid minimal impact to the business
Additional duties include analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve server and application installation and integration issues.
Provide technical expertise in business initiatives and projects
Configure and install network related hardware and software
Audit existing infrastructure and software to ensure proper setup, application of patches and policy compliance
Manage and maintain network documentation through collaborative applications
Group Policies, DNS IIS, Active Directory, SMS, tape backups, creation and deployment of standardized desktop images, patch management, monitoring tools for maintaining systems security and stability, documentation
Duties include administration of enterprise-wide systems, providing server and client workstation support for all network resident and virtual environment applications and services.
Perform scheduled and emergency network maintenance
Troubleshoot user/system issues, failure recovery, virus cleaning, etc.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Relevant CISCO and Microsoft Industry certification; (MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, etc.)
5
years of experience conducting network switch management and systems administration duties
Proficiency with Active Directory, VDI, VMWare, Windows Server (2008R2) and Exchange Administration knowledge
Proficiency with servers, as well as local and wide area networks and system monitoring data backup, virus protection, and patch management
Knowledge of Cisco security appliances (PIX/ASA, IPS/IDS, ACS, CSMARS)
Basic networking / VPN technologies (both IPSec and SSL) / Firewall, IP routing troubleshooting
Experience performing network assessments and audits
Maintain backups, error logs, and updates on servers
Interact with hardware and software vendors for system troubleshooting.
Knowledge in the following areas a plus (load balancing, compression technologies, SOA, network
Professional presentation and excellent customer service skills are a major requirement

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
