Sitter Wanted - Wanted: Care Provider For Special Needs Child (Male / 12 Years Old)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a caregiver for a special needs child who is 12 years old. This would be a split shift
5-7 a.m. and 2-5 p.m.
AM duties include: morning meal prep, assistance with dressing for school, packing his lunch and helping him to the bus in front of our home.
PM duties include: helping him off the bus in front of our home, afternoon snack/meal prep and general supervision while he plays.
Our child is able to feed himself, go to the bathroom himself and shower himself. We are looking for someone to provide general supervision and someone who is willing to plan various activities when he's not in school (i.e. bike rides, trips to the park).
Full time hours during the summer break.
Pay rate is approximately $15 per hour and is paid primarily by the State of California IHSS. Requirements: background check, fingerprinting and a one day orientation to become IHSS certified.
