Registered Nurse - New Graduate Program

Work Schedule:
To be determined by unit, must be flexible to meet patient care needs.
To be negotiated with preceptor/Unit RELOCATION INCENTIVE/RECRUITMENT INCENTIVE IS NOT AUTHORIZED.
Major Duties, but are not limited to:
Responsible to the Nurse Manager of specific assigned area.
Responsible for providing direct patient care in specific assigned area.
Works in partnership with the health care team in implementing standards of care in accordance with the purpose, philosophy and objectives of nursing, while being a positive team player.
Responsible of maintenance, care and use of equipment used, applying principles of asepsis, therapeutics and technical knowledge to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Provides patient and family teaching.
Documents nursing interventions.
Participates during in-services, journal club presentations, and TQI activities.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
United States Citizenship.
Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency, and accredited by the National League of Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC) which changed to the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) at the time the program was completed; OR the completion of coursework equivalent to a nursing degree in a MSN Bridge Program that qualifies for professional nursing registration constitutes the completion of an approved course of study of professional nursing.
Students should submit the certificate of professional nursing to sit for the NCLEX to the VA along with a copy of the MSN transcript.

OR In cases of graduates of foreign schools of professional nursing, possession of current, full, active and unrestricted registration will meet the requirement of graduation from an approved school of professional nursing.
Grade Determinations:
In addition to the basic requirements, the following criteria must be met in determining the grade assignment of candidates, and if appropriate, the level within a grade:
Nurse I Level I - An Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing, with no additional nursing practice/experience required.
Nurse I Level II - An ADN or Diploma in Nursing and approximately 1 year of nursing practice/experience; OR an ADN or Diploma in Nursing and a bachelor's degree in a related field with no additional nursing practice/experience; OR a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) with no additional nursing practice/experience.
Nurse I Level III - An ADN or Diploma in Nursing and approximately 2-3 years of nursing practice/experience; OR an ADN or Diploma in Nursing and a Bachelor's degree in a related field and approximately 1-2 years of nursing practice/experience; OR a BSN with approximately 1-2 years of nursing practice/experience; OR a Master's degree in nursing (MSN) or related field with a BSN and no additional nursing practice/experience.

Note:
Provide your RN registered license number on your application.
Must be verifiable by 3/19/2020.
Less than six (6) months of full-time RN experience.
Current BLS provider card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) provider card.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
