2021As a Director of Real Estate Services, you will be responsible for the management, review and maintenance of the Real Estate department with a focus of creating and driving strategy, product development, and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and lending policies.
Position Duties and
Responsibilities:
To succeed in this position, you must be an active listener, keen problem solver, proactive and supportive team leader, with effective communication skills and positive attitude.
Effectively leads and supervises all aspects of the Real Estate department and sets expectations to meet cycle times and ensure accurate and timely loan disposition.
Manages Real Estate personnel, including assisting with hiring, training, reviewing, scheduling and other administrative duties.
Actively participates in the on-going research and development of products & services designed to meet Credit Union needs.
Seeks to continually improve the member experience through use of technology and efficient process.
Responsible for adherence to policy, compliance with state and federal regulations, and assists with development of lending process, programs, and procedures.
Follows established safety policies and procedures as outlined in the OE Federal CU Illness & Injury Prevention Program.
Submits to initial and ongoing Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance training.
Incorporates current BSA regulations into applicable job functions.
Maintains complete confidentially of member, employee, and Credit Union information.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalency required, Bachelor's degree a plus.
Five years or more of equivalent experience preferred; Two years or more of management experience required.
Track record of leading and coaching the team to achieve higher results, including lending excellence, consistent delivery of exceptional service, and operational integrity.
Strong Residential underwriting, loan servicing, secondary market and investor guideline knowledge.
Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills required; ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external business partners.
Excellent member service, relationship, organizational, analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong working knowledge of Credit Union products, services, policies, procedures and regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word.
Embrace ongoing education and learn/apply new skills and software applications.
Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of working agreed work shift in the Lending Department and of occasionally working before/after the work shift.
Physical activities include a combination of constant sitting, constant hand motion and occasional standing/walking.
These activities are not necessarily performed to the same degree and combination every day.
Must be capable of lifting 10 pounds.
