Manage daily activities of the Sales Support functions including analysis, sales training, customer solutions and value-add services.
Work with sales leadership to identify and prioritize largest sales opportunities and allocate sales support against highest penetration and growth opportunities.
Ensure that the team is adequately staffed to support Territory Manager (TM) training, Save our Sales (SOS) process execution, dot.
com support for customers, and Customer Business Review (CBR) coordination.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Serves as a strategic partner to the Area President to organize and prioritize critical issues, execute initiatives, and manage area effectivenessCoordinates and executes all commercial work within the area and manages the dissemination of commercial communicationsPartners with Area staff, sales leadership (VPLS, VPNS, NSM, RSM, DSM), New Business Managers, pricing, and merchandising teams by leveraging Plays, tools, and resources to drive performance, productivity, and key resultsLeverages internal reporting tools to track progress and identify performance improvement opportunities.
Synthesize data findings to prioritize areas of focusTranslates strategy into Area implementation plans and tracks performance on key metrics.
Core strategies include, but are not limited to, account penetration, account acquisition, churn reduction, margin, category growth, contract management, EB migration, e-commerce optimization, pricing strategies, CRM management, and reducing cost to serveInfluences the resource allocation of sales support and team selling (Culinary, Restaurant Operations and Fresh specialists) to maximize market share and retention opportunities within the AreaProvides area leaders and sales support members with coaching to improve effectiveness and ensure consistencyParticipates in agile field teams to build/improve processes and provides constructive feedback to Commercial Excellence and Program Office teamsActive participant and/or leader in Staff meetings and area PlaysSUPERVISIONResponsible for hiring, onboarding, and managing the Sales Analyst, Sales Analyst Assistant, Customer Solutions Coordinator, Sales Coordination Manager, CES, and Segment Specialists.
Dot line responsibility for Culinary, Restaurant Operations and Fresh specialists.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Related Professional
Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience requiredSupervisory/ management or cross functional leadership experience requiredProfessional experience in sales, merchandising, finance, general management, or strategy/consulting preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Influential leader with strong emotional intelligence.
Strong cross-functional business acumen and expertise.
Must be able to provide direction to people who do not have a direct reporting relationship and influence people cross functionallyExperience planning and leading strategic initiatives and directing multiple teams and departmentsAbility to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneouslyNimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutionsExperience with data analysisAbility to collaborate in a functional matrixed environment with virtual leadership across multiple sitesExcellent communicator in written and verbal formAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Excel, Word, PowerPointProficiency, active development, knowledge of, or application for at least three of the following is a plus:
Tableau, Merlin Ad Hoc, Snowflake, Salesforce Reporting, Discoverer, EDTS, Roadnet, Airclic & OmntracsTRAVELOvernight travel may be required to participate in trainings, meetings, or other company events.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
